Dr. Rose Mulhearn is a licensed Acupuncturist and Medical Herbalist. Originally from New Orleans, L.A., she received her undergraduate training in Physical and Forensic Anthropology at Tulane University. Her interest in sports injuries and Orthopedics began as a middle-distance runner on Tulane’s Division I Track and Field team, and as captain of the Women’s Rowing team. Rose had a career out of college as a primatologist training gorillas at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, and managed a primate collection and participated in primate research while living in Costa Rica. Next, she worked as a Forensic Investigator in Jefferson Parish, L.A. After enduring Hurricane Katrina, she was inspired by renowned acupuncturist Jin-Na Wu to combine her interest in bodies and bones with therapeutic medicine.
